Browser-first
Every tool opens in your browser tab. No installer, no app store, no integration setup. Just pick the tool you need and start working.
About us
TemplatePilot gives freelancers and small teams focused browser tools for everyday admin — invoices, quotes, expenses, org charts, attendance tracking and more. No sign-up, no subscription, and your data stays local.
Why we built this
Most admin tools aimed at small businesses and freelancers start with a free trial and end with a monthly fee. That works for large teams, but it does not work for someone who just needs to send a clean invoice, track a few expenses, or draw a quick org chart — and does not want another recurring bill for the privilege.
Every tool opens in your browser tab. No installer, no app store, no integration setup. Just pick the tool you need and start working.
Export your work as polished files when you are finished. PDFs, spreadsheets, and printable outputs are included — no paywall on the export.
Drafts, edits and uploaded content stay in your browser storage unless you choose to export. We do not store, see, or process your working data on our servers.
Send professional invoices, build quick quotations, and track expenses without signing up for accounting software you do not yet need. Get the admin done and get back to the work you actually bill for.
Keep useful records for accountant handover, track attendance and project tasks, and maintain clean files for tax and compliance — all from a browser tab.
Draw org charts, build task trackers, and map workflows without learning a new platform or asking IT to approve a tool. Shareable exports mean everyone sees the same picture.
The tools
Every tool was built around a specific admin job — not a generic template. Start with sample data, edit in your browser, and export when you are done.
Build and manage invoices with line items, VAT, and due dates. Export clean spreadsheets for your records or accountant.
Create professional quotations and estimates with itemised pricing. Send to clients as polished PDFs or spreadsheets.
Log income and expenses with categories, VAT tracking, and payment status. Export monthly for cashflow review or accountant handover.
Draw clear reporting structures and team hierarchies. Useful for onboarding, planning, or explaining how your organisation fits together.
Record attendance, absences, and patterns across your team. Export summaries for HR or payroll handover.
Manage project tasks with status, priority, and assignment fields. Keep a lightweight project view without a full project management suite.
Sketch process flows, decision trees, and workflow diagrams. Export as images or include in documents and presentations.
Structure meeting notes with attendees, actions, and decisions. Keep a consistent format and share clean summaries afterwards.
How we work
TemplatePilot is a small UK project built by people who have spent years in operations, project management, and service delivery roles — and who kept hitting the same wall: useful admin tools that started free and then locked features behind a subscription.
We wanted something different. Tools that open immediately, work entirely in the browser, keep your data local, and export clean files you actually own. No platform dependency, no migration cost if you outgrow us later.
The core tools are free. We may offer premium add-ons in the future — higher export volumes, custom branding, or advanced templates — but the tools you use today will stay free.
We build for UK business contexts: VAT rates, UK tax year conventions, British date formats, and the kind of admin workflows that make sense for freelancers and small teams operating here.
We add new tools, deepen existing ones, and write practical guides based on what users actually ask for. If a tool could be more useful, tell us — we listen.
What we are not
TemplatePilot tools are designed for lightweight admin and record-keeping. They do not replace an accountant, bookkeeping platform, or payroll system. Use them as working records, then rely on professional advice for tax, compliance, and financial decisions.
We do not store your data on our servers. Your work lives in your browser. If you clear your browser storage, your drafts will be lost — so export regularly. We think this is a feature, not a bug: your data belongs to you, not to us.
Our guides and tool descriptions are for informational purposes. They are not a substitute for qualified professional advice. Always verify important figures, tax treatments, and compliance requirements with a qualified accountant, solicitor, or relevant authority.
